The NRF Foundation’s BIG SILENT AUCTION, held in conjunction with NRF’s BIG SHOW in January, is now one of the highlights of the Convention and EXPO.  The NRF Foundation (NRFF) will be auctioning off more than 100 fun and unique items that attendees can bid on, to help raise money for the NRF Foundation.  The Silent Auction is NRFF’s main fundraising activity, and proceeds help fund important education, training, and career awareness programs.

Empower people today for greater success tomorrow.
NRF Foundation, Where Retailing Gets Smarter.

NRFF programs educate, motivate and inspire professional careers in retailing at every level.  Through consistent training, career guidance, and research, the Foundation is working to create and retain a more competent workforce, skilled in best practices, with a long term commitment to the industry.

If you are attending NRF’s BIG SHOW in New York, be sure to stop by the auction and bid on items. The auction will be located in the center of the EXPO Hall at the Jacob Javits Convention Center.  Auction dates are January 12th & 13th, 2009.

Or, please consider donating an actual auction item.  It’s fun, it’s easy, and it shows your support for the NRF Foundation!  Feel free to contact Evelyn Rose, or Justine Florian for more information on how you can participate.

So far, the fun and unique items include:

Together, we can make this an event that drives greater awareness of the important work the NRF Foundation does to support retail training programs that benefit retail companies, students and educators.  Thanks in advance for your support!
